A veneer is a thin layer of restorative material placed over a tooth surface, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth or to protect a damaged tooth surface. It sits directly on the front of your tooth. You cannot use veneers to replace missing or lost teeth.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding has a dual purpose, it can both improve the appearance of your teeth, as well as their functionality. It is both restorative and cosmetic, however it is most frequently used as a cosmetic procedure.

In dental bonding a tooth-colored resin material (a durable plastic material) is applied and hardened with a special light, which ultimately “bonds” the material to the tooth to restore or improve person’s smile.

Dental bonding is used to fill cracks in teeth, cavities, gaps between teeth, extend shorter teeth and improve the appearance of any permanent discoloration. Dental bonding is a fast and safe procedure, it is often compared to veneers. Dental bonding can last between 10-15 years, it does not require enamel to be removed, unlike veneers.

Dental bonding is a great alternative to veneers, and it is useful if there is a small or minor area of concern in your mouth. However, dental bonding tends to get discolored more easily than porcelain veneers.

Zoom Whitening

For those who are looking to whiten their teeth, zoom whitening is a good option.

Zoom Whitening is the fastest way to get a whiter smile. The treatment takes as little as one hour to complete.

This system uses a light to activate the whitening material applied to your teeth. It works very fast (1 hr) and can get your smile up to 8 shades whiter.

After the whitening, we will apply some desensitizing medication to your teeth and send you home with a desensitizing mouthwash to avoid any possible sensitivity you may experience.

In addition to the immediate result, we will also give you a “touch-up” kit that you can use at home every few weeks to maintain your smile between appointments.
